1. What PROSA is
PROSA is a reading application that brings together RSS and other publicly available feeds, recommends articles, and lets readers save, follow, and respond to sources. Publisher content remains the responsibility of its original publisher.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, password hash, and provider identifier when you create or link an account.
- Reading signals: impressions, opened articles, reading time, likes, saves, follows, skips, and the sources or topics you choose.
- Search activity: searches submitted in PROSA and recent search history, so we can show useful results and improve recommendations.
- Device and technical data: installation identifier, session tokens, app version, basic diagnostics, and security events.
3. How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure the service, keep your feed in sync, personalise recommendations, measure reliability and usage, prevent abuse, and communicate important service changes. We do not use reading signals to sell a personal advertising profile.
4. Sign-in providers
If you use Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, or another supported provider, that provider authenticates you and shares the information permitted by your approval and its policies. PROSA receives a provider account identifier and may receive your name or email address. PROSA does not receive your provider password.
5. Sharing
We share information only with infrastructure and service providers needed to operate PROSA, when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or when you ask us to share it. We do not sell personal information. Public feed URLs and article metadata may be requested from the websites that publish those feeds.
6. Storage and retention
We retain account and reading data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Some records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or aggregated statistics.
7. Your choices
You can change your interests, languages, followed sources, and saved items in the app. You can stop using a provider connection, sign out, or request account deletion. You can also contact us to ask for access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information.
8. Cookies and local storage
The website may use essential local storage or cookies to keep the service secure and remember session preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
9. Children
PROSA is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
